Contract For Sale
The advertising of products on the site is the way in which we are able to display all the items available to buy through the site. We aim to keep items in stock at all times,  but due to the very nature of our product being hand-made means that it is inevitable there will be breaks in supply in which case some lines will show ‘Not Available’.

However, on rare occasions, stock levels may be incorrect and you will be contacted. That means your order is an offer, not a contract of sale between you and Mama Jewels, so prices and stock availability won’t be contractually confirmed until you receive the ‘confirmation of dispatch’ email sent once your order has been successfully picked and we can confirm stock levels have been checked.
Prices and stock are not contractually confirmed until you receive the confirmation of dispatch sent to the email account provided by you. We reserve the right to withdraw from sale any items that have been priced up incorrectly. Any contracts or agreements formed between yourself and Mama Jewels through this website shall be governed and construed according to English law and any disputes or proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

These terms and conditions cannot be varied except by changes made by Mama Jewels on the site, which we may make from time to time. In particular, nothing said by any representative of Mama Jewels will operate as a variation to these terms and condition or constitutes a legal representation on behalf of either of them.

Please be aware that whilst we take great care to accurately describe the jewellery shown on our website, a lot of the items are hand made from natural materials and as such their composition and colour may vary slightly from that shown and are usually in some way unique.

We will do everything possible to ensure that you can be confident of making a secure, risk-free purchase from us but In the unlikely event that you are unhappy in any way with our service or products, please contact us immediately and we will attempt to put things right or arrange for a return. See Returns below.

Making A Purchase
When you make a purchase from Mama
– You will receive an electronic confirmation upon receipt of your order as soon as your order has been received (unless your order has been made over the telephone)
– You will receive notification of dispatch usually within 1-2 working days of your order being processed.

It should not be possible to order any item that is not in stock.  You can only place items in your basket that are currently in stock meaning that you can shop with confidence that the items that you have chosen will be with you within a few days. Each item offered for sale stipulates the expected delivery time to you. Your jewellery will be fully insured during delivery. See Delivery Info 


Pricing Promise
Mama Jewels want you to shop in the knowledge that you are getting the best products at the very best cost. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.  We invite purchases from overseas and the postage and packaging charges are all outlined within Delivery Info. All prices are displayed in pounds sterling only (GBP). Your credit card company will charge you in your country’s currency at that day’s exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of Mama Jewels.

If the items you have ordered are unsuitable you must inform us within 7 days of receipt. Email our customer service on detailing your sales reference, name and date of purchase and the item you wish to return. We must have your order number to issue a refund or exchange.  Send back to us at the address above. We will then be happy to make a refund/exchange providing the items are returned complete, in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 7 days of receiving your returns number. Items returned outside these guidelines will only be subject to credit. A refund will not be possible if the item/items arrive damaged as a result of the original packaging not being used, in these cases the item/s will be returned to you. Under no circumstance are we able to accept the return of earrings, in compliance with current Health & Hygiene regulations? We will not also be able to refund any item that has been ordered outside our current range – these items are highlighted Special Order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the item/s to us. 

Shipping cost refunds

Shipping costs will only be refunded when the item received is faulty. In that circumstance, the full value of the order will be refunded. When items are shipped and then returned to us due to issues with delivery and Mama Jewels has paid for the parcel to be sent, but the parcel is returned for reasons that are not within our control, (eg. Customs, incorrect address, recipient not available when item delivered)  the value of the order, less the postage price will be refunded.

When returning items you are strongly recommended to obtain proof of posting. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. Upon receipt of items returned as faulty, Mama Jewels will arrange for an exchange/refund repair. Mama Jewels decision is final.

Faulty Goods

If in the unlikely event your product should develop a fault you will be offered one of three options in accordance with the Sale of goods act (SGA 1979) this is also known as your statutory rights.

  1. A full refund
  2. A replacement
  3. A repair of the original item

The time limit on this is one year from the date you received your purchase.

Any refunds due will be processed back onto the original card used for payment usually within 14 working days.

Special Orders
Please be aware that any item marked as Special Order or any item that is ordered especially for you will be charged on order and will not be able to be returned for a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Extended Period at Xmas
Any purchase intended as a gift at Xmas can be exchanged/credited up to the 10th January providing the above criteria has been satisfied. Refunds will not be offered outside the standard terms.

Obviously, we do our utmost to ensure that our server hosts are secure and fully accredited.  Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for any illegal breaches that may occur.
